Kim, a new mother, journeys into the depths of a nightclub in search of her first love and the radiant self she once was. She finds, however, that the world and people she used to know well do not give her the sense of intimacy she was looking for. She must ultimately let go of her false conception of who she thought this world would make her and decide whether to commit to the self she currently is or turn back to her old ways.
